Devin, a Susquenita High School graduate, and Abby, a Juniata High School graduate, have been with Cheerforce
since it's beginning....eight years ago. They are now college roommates at Shippensburg University!

My daughter Angelica has been a member of Cheerforce for three years. She started at the age of five, with no
cheer, dance or gymnastics experience and to see how much she has learned, grown, and changed through these three years is
amazing. I owe alot of it to her coaches, Abby and Allyson. They do amazing work with these young and talented
girls. Using positive encouragement, they help this team achieve things they didn't think they ever could.
Cheerforce enforces the values of hard work and being part of a team...it's not about winning, but about the journey these
young ladies take to get there. It's not all work though...these coaches definitely know how to make each practice
fun. Playing Simon Says and drawings for goodie bags are just a few of Angelica's favorites. It never just
feels like we are just part of a team...Raiders are a family. We are there for each other, we cheer for each other,
and we'd do anything for each other! We are proud to be part of the Raider family and so excited for the future
of Cheerforce. ~~Amanda Basom

My daughter Hannah is finishing her fifth year with Cheerforce and we are looking forward to many more years as a member
of this cheer family. I have seen her grow from a little girl to a young lady, as with many of the other girls.
The coaches and girls work hard together, and that shows when they perform. There is definately no "I" in
this team. Cheerforce is not just a group of girls, coaches and parents...it truly is a family. The new gym
is just a testimate that hard work and dedication always wins, and as a family we pulled it all together for our girls!
No matter the size of the trophy or what place the teams take, they always have a first place attitude and will always be
#1. ~~April Huff

My 6 year
old daughter joined Cheerforce this year with little to no experience in Cheerleading and only 4 months of tumbling.
As a former high school and college cheerleader, I was worried that she would have trouble keeping up with all that she had
to learn. To my great surprise, the Cheerforce staff and coaches created an environment that allowed Isabella the opportunity
to learn and develop quickly. After a few months of practice she was performing tumbling skills at a much higher
level than expected and she gained flexibility allowing her to be a part of stunt gropus that I thought were years in coming.
Apart from cheerleading and tumbling skills, my daughter has learned the value of setting goals and working hard toward
those goals. She has learned life lessons that are applicable in other areas of her development. Isabella
is learning to face challenges, work through difficulity and the skill of self-disclipline. Her coaches have helped
her make reasonable goals, recognized her strengths and helped her struggle through her weaker areas. They were very
open with me in letting me know what Isabella needed to work on. With my personal experience I was able to work with
her individually and strengthen her skills. Through all of this, Isabelland I have strengthened our mother-daughter
relationship.
Isabella and I did not know anyone at Cheerforce before we joined. Over the past
year, we have both developed strong relationships with other parents and cheerleaders. Isabella's goal was to come
home from practice knowing the name of at least one cheerleader she did not know before. Because of the foundation built
by the coaches and the way they work together, it did not take long. She feels at home with her teammates. As
a parent, I needed to branch out as well. I was welcomed into friendship very early on and it has been absolute fun
getting to know these parents. We support each other, our coaches and our kids.
Cheerforce is made up of
good people. Whatever the challenge, the girls and parents pull together to reach a common goal. Our commitment
to our kids, our coaches and our parents is truly a 'force to be reckoned with'. The new Cheerforce facility
will reflect this commitment and is going to move us forward. GO RAIDERS! ~~ Lisa Avedician
