If YOU want to be an All-Star Cheerleader, then WE want you
to be an All-Star Cheerleader!! Don’t let the lack of experience keep you from trying. Show us that you have a positive
attitude, willingness to learn, and the potential to be a good cheerleader, and we’ll show you a spot on one of our
teams!
Try-outs will be held at our home, the Perry-Juniata Gym on Industrial
Road, Mifflintown.
If you would like to try out but are not available on May 23, 2010 due to
a prior commitment, please phone Program Manager, Stacey Nace at 717-903-6879 to arrange for an alternate try-out time.
**The age of the cheerleader as of August 31, 2010, will be the
age used for competition purposes throughout the 2010-2011 season for all divisions.
The coaching staff will determine the Cheerforce team members and
post the results on our website the Monday following tryouts. All decisions are final.
There is a $10 non-refundable
tryout fee due at tryouts.
Each participant must have current health insurance coverage to try out.
Release
forms must be completed prior to participation in tryouts. The release form will be given to participants upon arrival
at tryouts. A parent must accompany each cheerleader to tryouts for purposes of filling out the necessary paperwork.
Tryouts will be closed to parents, guests, etc. Seating is available in the lobby area.
Each participant
will be taught a cheer, a jump, basic stunting and will be asked to perform any tumbling skills they may have.
Although
tumbling is an important part of cheerleading, it is not a requirement for tryouts, nor is previous cheerleading experience.
We encourage everyone with interest to try out.
There will be a MANDATORY parent meeting during the last
half hour of each tryout session on May 23, 2010.
Information regarding our program will be discussed at that time.
Also, any questions you may have can be answered during that time. Program handbooks outlining all policies and procedures
of Cheerforce will be distributed at the meeting.
